Vintage Cloisonné Pendants

All of these pendants were expertly handmade.  The word cloisonné means partition or section. Each piece begins with a copper base, then copper strips are soldered onto it.  It is then painted with enamel and baked 5 separate times. It is later hand-ground, polished to a flat smooth surface then gold plated. (Many of the new style cloisonné pieces skip some steps and they have raised sections.) These beautiful pieces are all vintage, and look fabulous with our cloisonné beads and our old stock cinnabar!

This vintage two-sided pendant has a bluish green enamel background with a pink flower in the center. It has a hole in the top and bottom.   Its in perfect unused condition, and the same design is on the back. Circa 1970

This vintage pendant has a black enamel background with flowers and a butterfly decorating it. Nice gold rim around the inside and outside. The scene is the same on the front and back of it. There is a large bail on the top. Excellent condition

Size: 1 ¾ inches

This oval or egg shaped drop pendants are very striking in the gold color. There is a large red cross in the center and blue and green accents. The same design on both sides. They have large bails on the top so they can easily slip on a chain, wire, leather or cord. New/old stock in perfect unused condition, sold in pairs. They are one inch long not counting the bail.

Very nice vintage pendant with a blue scroll border and a rust background. There are beautiful pink and red flowers in the center with a butterfly. It has the same decorations on both sides. See another view.

This vintage two-sided pendant has a black enamel background with a multi-colored owl on a branch surrounded by green leaves. It has lovely vibrant colors. It has a hole in the top and bottom, with a large gold tone bail on top. . It is in very good condition, and had the same design on the back. Circa 1980's

This vintage two-sided pendant has a cobalt blue enamel background with two ducks in the center. It has a hole in the top and bottom with a gold rim all around.   It is in perfect unused condition, the same design is on the back. Circa 1980. There is a hole down the middle of it, and it has a large bail on the top and loop on the bottom.

Very high quality vintage pendant. It is a blue miniature vase decorated with pastel flowers on it. There are two gold bails on the sides, so it will easily attach to a necklace or chain. It has a brass top and bottom and is the same on both sides. Excellent condition. See another view. Circa 1970

This vintage two-sided key style pendant has a dark green enamel background. The center has a mauve field with lovely flowers and butterflies decorating it. The other side is similar with just flowers. It's perfect to hang on a necklace.   circa 1970

This vintage cloisonné pendant bead is a coin shape and has a deep red background. It is decorated with lilac flowers and green leaves. It has a hole in the top and bottom. It is in very good condition, and the same design is on the back. It is 8mm thick. Circa 1970

This vintage pendant has a white enamel background with a scene of a warrior fighting a dragon. It is very colorful and the scene is the same on the front and back of it. There is a hole down the middle of it, and it has a large bail. Excellent condition

Size: 50mm (70mm w/ bail)

This vintage puffy fish has very nice details in the scales and the fins. It is two sided and has the same design on both sides. Excellent condition, See the back.
