Tibetan Green Glass Antique Bead Necklace

Description

A fabulous multi-strand glass bead necklace from the Tibet or Nepal region. The necklace is featuring antique beads that are green glass beads. The necklace has 5 strands of 8mm beads. There beads are strung on a thick light colored cord and have a cream fiber wrap on the loop closure with a coin. The coin is a 1929 quarter from India. The necklace was created in the 1940's, but the beads are much older. The necklace was purchased in Tibet in the 1960's. It is truly a magnificent collectors' piece.
