Stunning designer brooch by Ciner. CINER Jewelry Company, was started in New York in 1892 by Emanuel Ciner, often designed its pieces to look like fine jewelry. The quality is first class and the look rich and well crafted. This cross has glass cabochons that look like real gemstones and are set in an antiqued gold brooch. It has a pin and a pendant hook or bail on the back, so it can hang on any necklace. It is signed ciner© and is in excellent condition. ~ See another view.   See the back. See the signature.

This regal brooch has five large lapis lazuli glass cabochons set in a gold tone frame. It has a long beaded gold tassel dangling below it. It is really well made and has heavy gold plating. It has an open back and a safety pin that works perfectly. It is unmarked and is in excellent condition. ~ See another view.   See the back.

This adorable ivory brooch is a daisy that was expertly carved. Each delicate petal stands out on its own. It has a yellow painted center and has a little ladybug perched on the petals. It is on a gold filled pin back and stem. It was made by Windard, who is a well know jewelry maker that specialized in ivory pieces. It is marked WINARD 12K G.F. on the back. Size: 2 ½ inches

This is a fabulous old floral brooch that is two pansy blooms with long curved stems. It is made of sterling silver and has gold plating over the top, which is called vermeil. It is very well made and has several marks on the back. It is marked Sterling, TNO. 30 and a N in a circle. (I don't know what all the marks mean, may be a Napier piece) Circa 1940's ~ See another view.   See the back.

This is a large and colorful enamel floral brooch. It is really fun and playful and reminds me of the pop art from the 1960's. It has a large yellow center with yellow polka dots on blue petals. Robert is known for the quality enamel jewelry they made - and this is a good example. "Robert" used quality shiny metals for his enamel work. See the back. I love the teal color in this beautiful brooch. It is in a free form shape that reminds me of a sea anemone. It has a beautiful combination of teal enamel over a polished gold finish. This brooch is in excellent condition. It is signed Monet on the back - see the back. Circa 1950

What a gorgeous art glass brooch. This elegant brooch has a beautiful robins egg blue stone in the center that has gold crackling on it. It is surrounded by faux pearls and round turquoise colored stones. The brooch is signed J.M Paris, MADE IN FRANCE. It has a trombone clasp and a bail so it could be used as a pendant.  See the back.

This large brooch in the shape of a bow was designed by world famous fashion designer, Valentino Garavani. This brooch is huge and will make a grand statement; it may have been a runway piece. The gold plated bow is covered in hundreds of pave set sparkling white rhinestones, all of which are still bright and shiny. The name Valentino is synonymous with elegance and high style and this brooch is one of his best. It is in excellent condition and is signed with the V logo on the back - see the back. See view A, B

This silver tone brooch is in the shape of a graceful bow with a rose in the center. It is very nice with a mirror finish and it is in remarkable shape for its age. I don't see a scratch on it. Marked Coro on the pin back in the oldest Coro style. Marked Coro (in a box) with the flying Pegasus to the left, on the back of the pin. Research shows this signature was used in 1940's only. This Italian made brooch is called a micro mosaic. It was hand made of tiny glass pieces called tessare. In the center they were expertly arranged in the shape of three flowers with petals in a red background there are smaller flowers surrounding it. The pin is in a wonderful gold tone filigree frame. All the glass pieces are intact and the brooch is in excellent condition. It has a traditional safety pin clasp. Click here to see the back.

This antique brooch is called a Micro Mosaic. It was hand made of tiny glass pieces called tessare. It has a floral design in the center of each of the three circles. It has a gold tone or brass frame with a "C" clasp. All the glass pieces are intact and the brooch is in excellent condition. Click here to see the back. - Circa 1900's

Handmade sterling silver pin with a cut out flower in an oval frame. This is in the Danecraft style, but the pin is not signed. It has a dark patina and looks like it has a lot of age to it. Pin closure works very well ~ See the back.

Handmade Taxco Mexican sterling silver brooch in the shape of a fish. It is inlaid with colorful abalone shell. This piece can be worn as a pendant or vertically as a pin. It has a clip on bail on the back as well as a c-clasp pin. It can easily slip over a chain or leather. Signed STERLING 925 TAXCO MEX POD with the Eagle 3 stamp. See the back.

This is a large stylized leaf pin made by Kramer Jewelry Creations, an excellent costume jewelry company. It is made of texturized gilt metal with a faux pearl on the end. The pin is in excellent condition. It is signed Kramer on the back - see the back.

Elegant Rhinestone Brooch made by Krementz. It is rhodium plated and all the rhinestones are prong set. Krementz was known for making high quality costume jewelry in the 30's-60's. Excellent condition, all the stones are bright white. Circa 1940's ~ Signed KREMENTZ on the pin. - See the Back

This is a beautiful modernist brooch signed by famous Paris Designer, Christian Dior. It incorporates red glass cabochons and black enameling in a gold filled setting that makes a stylish and striking piece. ~ Signed Chr Dior©. See the back.

This magnificent crown brooch is set with 3 large glass cabochons, 2 emerald and one ruby red. A line of green baguettes frames the brow, with a row of blue rhinestones above it. Sparkling blue and white rhinestone accents are pave set on the remainder of the crown. The sterling is plated in gold. Marked STERLING CoroCraft (in script) with the flying Pegasus. This brooch was designed by Alfred Katz and patented in 1944, with design patent #139100. It appears in many jewelry books and is a very sought after piece. The safety clasp works well. Brilliant extra large silver tone brooch designed by Sarah Coventry. It has a beautiful swirling floral design. The petals are nicely textured and are a pretty contrast to the polished ones around the center pearl. It is in excellent condition. See the back. Signed ©SARAHCOV.

This large and ornate brooch has beautiful jewel toned glass cabochons, with an antiqued gold finish. It has nice filigree rope and floral accents. The stones have gold foil backs and are still clear and reflective. It is signed ©Corocraft on the back - see the back.

Here is a beautiful and elegant rhinestone brooch made by Charel. It has a nice brushed gold finish with a large montana blue rhinestone in the center and clear pave set crystals on the left side. There is a floral pattern cut into the center rhinestone that is visible in the close-up picture. It is really a rare cut. The pin is in excellent condition. See the close-up. Mexican silver brooch with a traditional tribal face mask carved in black onyx. It is in a pretty sterling silver frame with filigree bead work. This large brooch is just stunning. It is covered in prong set fancy glass stones. The stones are so beautiful and colorful. Each one is slightly different and many of them are opal glass and have a nice sheen and glow. The pear shaped stones are two toned red and white with a foil backing. The brooch is very well constructed and has a closed gold tone back. The size of the brooch and rarity of the glass stones make this brooch an outstanding piece. Fabulous faux red coral brooch of a bunch of grapes on grape leaves. It is a traditional Italian design and very well made. The "grapes" are on a gold chain and have lovely movement.
