Vintage Necklaces & Sets

This is a fabulous modernist necklace from the famous Haute Couture designer, Pierre Cardin. This large 1960's style is all the vogue right now! It is a special and important necklace, sometimes referred to as a Runway Show Piece. It is silver tone metal with black and cream enameling. There is a large flowing pendant in the center that measures 4 ½ inches long and is made in two sections. It adjusts and moves with you. The chain is made up of silver tube beads linked together with rings and it has a spring ring clasp. Signed Pierre CARDIN © on reverse of pendant. See view A, View B, View C, View D, View E.

This is an exquisite Victorian Era Multi-strand Red Coral Necklace. The coral is all natural Sardinian red coral that was all hand cut. The six strands of 3-4mm beads are strung on red silk. The beads on the first and last inch are all hand knotted, which makes the necklace stronger and prevents bead loss if there ever is a break. It is a sign of excellent quality. There is a 14Kt gold fluted tube clasp and filigree bead caps. The clasp is marked 14K and works perfectly. The necklace is in excellent condition, the coral is A+ with minimal visible pores or flaws. The color is very even and perfectly matched on each strand. This is a wonderful Fringe Collar Choker Necklace designed by Napier. It has long and lovely graduated fringe of chains that alternate between gold and silver tone. The collar itself has beautiful detail and scrolling and is a bright gold tone. It seems to be part of the Egyptian Revival period. The necklace and fringe measures 6½ " in the center. The necklace fits comfortably around the neck and has a chain and hook closure and is open 2½ " in the back. It is in very nice condition. Signed Napier on the hook. This is a fabulous extra long necklace that is made from hand carved bone beads in a variety of shapes and sizes as well as some genuine red agate beads. The bone beads are very nicely carved with pierced and fluted designs, the bone is also dyed to give it some depth and accents. In between the bone and agate are some silver tone beads and bead caps too. It has a silver tone barrel screw clasp. This is a really nice Ethnic Bone Necklace. See other views A, B, C.

This vintage necklace is composed of pretty branch coral beads and 5mm round beads. The coral is a light to medium pink color. The branches are graduated and are extra long in the center. This is a very high quality natural Italian coral. (It hasn't been dyed) The longest branches measure over 1 3/4 inches. It is finished in a traditional Native American style with sterling round beads and cone. It has a hook and eye claps. Circa 1970's. See View A, B, C, Clasp.

This extra long vintage necklace is composed of angel skin branch coral beads. The coral is a soft and light pink color. The branches are graduated and these are extra long and thick branches. This is a very high quality natural coral necklace made by Les Bernard, who specialized in coral and other gemstones. The longest branches measure over 1 1/2 inches. This is a stunning Czech glass necklace from the Art Deco Period, it is one of two Max Neiger Beaded necklaces I have. This is an all cream colored glass bead necklace with gold color accents. This particular necklace is beautiful and exotic it features turban head beads from his Egyptian Revival Designs. The head beads are made of Uranium Glass and glow under black light. There are also small red color spacer beads for a nice accent. There is no clasp as the necklace fits easily over the head. This elegant necklace is composed of Tiger's Eye gemstone beads and fluted gold filled rondelles. The beads are graduated from 7-12mm and are polished smooth. These Tiger's Eye gemstones are from the quartz family and have lovely even horizontal banding and nice chatoyancy. It has a gold filled filigree pearl clasp that is marked gold filled. This is a vintage Bohemian Black Glass and Brass Pendant Necklace. It has a beautiful brass pendant dangling at the end of the brass and glass beaded necklace. The pendant has a large black crystal in the center and has graduated brass chains hanging below it. The necklace is made of interesting links of brass and black glass beads. The pendant and chains extend 3 " below the necklace. The closure is a brass hook and there is an open chain extender on the end so that you can adjust the link. This necklace is probably Czech in origin, but is unsigned. The Czech were known for their wonderful work with brass and glass. This is an antique Mexican hand made linked chain necklace. This sterling chain was expertly made by a Mexican craftsman, these chains are very time consuming to construct so they are rarely made today. This long chain has a soft dark patina and is unisex. The necklace links are 3mm wide and it has a handmade hook clasp. ~It is in excellent condition and It is marked 925 Cuernavaca, See the clasp, See another view.

This lovely necklace features dark green malachite gemstone beads. The beads are graduated from 8-13mm and were hand cut so, they are slightly irregular in shape. There are gold beads on the end and a slide clasp that is a gold tone and marked Hobe. Excellent condition. Circa 1950's. See some other views 1, 2, 3. See the clasp.

I love this Swarovski's color, Light Colorado Topaz. It is a soft taupe color with an AB finish on the beads. This double strand necklace is composed of round topaz beads with Swarovski crystal spacers in between each one. There is a silver tone hook with a 3 " extender. The necklace is graduated with 6-12mm crystals. The necklace is in very good vintage condition. See another view.

This necklace features deep topaz lead crystal beads in an oval shape. They are nicely faceted and have sharp cuts. I love the wonderful rich amber color of these crystals, they are accented with black crystal spacer beads. The necklace is graduated with the center bead measuring 19x14mm. The shape of these crystals is very nice and more rare than rounds. The clasp is a silver tone barrel. Excellent condition. Circa 1930's. See some other views 1, 2.

This is a classic Art Deco pendant necklace. It has a large chrysoprase green molded glass pendant suspended at the end of the brass and glass beaded necklace. The green glass is often called chrysoprase glass and the beads are a mixture of ovals and beautifully faceted rondelles. The chain has ornate brass flower ovals linked together with the green beads. The pendant is in a brass frame with large roses on the sides that hold the glass pendant in tightly. The pendant extends 1 " below the chain. This necklace is probably Czech in origin, but is unsigned. The Czech were known for their wonderful work with brass and their rich colors in glass. Lovely vintage white coral necklace that has just been hand knotted on silk. The coral is a true white with a beautiful polish. It is a very high quality. The coral is all natural and hasn't been treated in any way. These beads are 7mm and have a 14kt gold pearl clasp. This is a black branch coral necklace with long branches in the front. There are smaller pieces all around the back and sides. The black coral is all hand cut and is natural, it hasn't been treated or dyed in any way. The coral has been polished to a high sheen and is in terrific shape. The longest pieces are 1¼ inches long and it has a secure barrel clasp. This coral is getting rare and very hard to find. It's a real treasure. See view A, B, C. The necklace is unmarked. Sparkling elegance to the max! This necklace has three strands of round (5000) Swarovski AB crystals in vitrail and comet argent light, offset with clear crystal spacers. There is a silver tone hook with a 2" extender. The necklace is graduated with 7-12mm crystals. There are matching clip on earrings. The necklace is in good vintage condition, but there are some scratches on the crystals' AB finish.

This is a vintage Griffin & Amethyst Glass Pendant Necklace. It has a beautiful gold tone chain and pendant with large prong set amethyst glass crystals.. The large pendant is decorated with Griffins. The necklace consists of three link chains with prong set amethyst crystals in stations. The pendant itself is 1 3/4 x 3 inches. This is an antique Navajo hand made chain necklace. This sterling chain was expertly made by a Navajo craftsman, these chains are very time consuming so they are rarely made today. Colorful y-shaped necklace falls to a wonderful feather point. It is composed of fed coral, picture jasper, lime chrysoprase, turquoise, amethyst, carnelian and denim lapis beads of various shapes and sizes make up the necklace’s beaded strand. A sterling silver feather charm hangs from the beaded strand, forming the centerpiece of this colorful necklace. Necklace measures 17" long plus a 3" extender and the sterling silver feather measures 2” long x 1/2" wide. Ends feature sterling silver oval links and a lobster claw clasp. Wow! What a wonderful coral lion necklace. This vintage necklace is composed of genuine tiger coral beads in multiple strands twisted together. The large lion pendant is a mosaic of tiger and black onyx and mother of pearl. It has a gold tone hook clasp. See view A, B, C. ~Circa 1970's.

Fabulous Native American necklace in a traditional design that includes three beautifully detailed feathers. The central pendant has a vibrant piece of blue turquoise set in a silver domed shadow box. There are 2 inch long feathers on each side of the pendant. The Navajo craftsmen are masters at creating the most beautiful Turquoise Jewelry. The necklace is in perfect condition and is signed Sterling W. See a close up, See the back.

A spectacular Pisces Zodiac Necklace by Luke Razza. In the 1970's, he created a zodiac line of necklaces using molded resin that resembles ivory or bone. This necklace depicts the sign of Pisces (Feb 19-Mar 20). The pendant itself measures 3 inches high by 2 inches wide. End to end, the original gold tone chain is 20 inches long. with some wear to the gold tone finish to the chain, which is usual for Razza pieces. Overall condition is very good, no chip or cracks on the pendant.

Luke Razza, a United States based Italian jewelry designer, created costume jewelry during the 1960's and early 1970's. His pieces have become highly collectible. See other views A, B, C. See the signature.
