Victorian Clover & Heart 12K Gold Watch Pin with Diamond and Pearls
A lovely antique Heart watch pin Green Enamel Clover inside. The Heart is decorated with natural seed pearls and is from the Victorian era. This clover or shamrock was beautifully painted and has yellow center with a sparkling round faceted diamond in the center. This pin was hand wrought in 12 karat gold that has a rosy hue and an older style C - clasp that works well. It also has a hook that was used to hang a locket, charm or watch. What a wonderful piece for a jewelry collector or lover!
The clover was a popular motif in the Victorian Era. Clovers were thought to bring on good fortune, success, prosperity, karma and well wishes to its possessor. The three leaves of a shamrock are said to stand for faith, hope and love. It is also the national symbol of Ireland. "For each petal on the shamrock. This brings a wish your way.
