Carnelian Faceted Bead Necklace

These are gorgeous Natural Carnelian Beads or red agates carved into faceted rectangular beads. The beads are slightly puffy and the surface looks like a cushion cut cabochon. They are high quality gemstones in all the shades of natural carnelian. Carnelian was believed by the Romans to be a stone of courage--able to shore up confidence and strength. They are knotted on silk and have a sterling silver hook and eye clasp.
