Mother of Pearl and Abalone Cross - Bethlehem

This is a fabulous hand carved Mother of Pearl and Abalone cross made in Israel.  The base of the cross is white mother of pearl that has intricately carved. There is a straight abalone shell cross overlaid on top. It is an elegant cross pendant that is a souvenir from Bethlehem, in the Holy Land. It has Bethlehem hand carved on the back and it has a split ring attached on the top. It would be easy to add to a necklace or chain. Circa 1950's
