Poppy Jasper 2mm Round Gemstone Beads

These are beautiful Poppy Jasper gemstone beads cut into tiny 2mm round micro beads. The beads are a beautiful mix of earth tone colors, reds, browns, and tans. These beads are a 2mm round size and they are vintage from the 1980's. These gemstones are machine made and have a beautiful polish and cut, which is hard in this small a size. Poppy Jasper is a variation of the Brecciated Jasper. This stone is characterized by its orbicular patterns of brilliant red “poppies” amid speckled shades of white, yellow, brown, and black. Poppy Jasper is formed when the Jasper fractures, and crystals of hematite or quartz, or both. This stone has unique multi color spots, patches with striking color patterns that can stand alone or mix wonderfully with a multitude of other stones and beads.
