Antique Trade Bead Egg Yolk Millefiori Necklace Yellow

Striking antique necklace composed of yellow and rust African Trade Beads. The necklace features authentic glass millefiori or mosaic tube beads in a design often called Egg Yolk. The glass beads are a round cylinder shape with flat ends. They were made in Italy and later traded to Africa. The beads are very nicely matched. They have a black core with yellow eyes ringed by rust and white.  It is large enough to slip over your head, strung on traditional raffia. There are a few dings and chips on these antique beads, which add to their beauty and story.
