Victorian sterling silver pictorial pin from the Aesthetic Period (1860-1900). There are silver overlays and engraved designs dividing the brooch in half between night and day. There is an owl in moonlight on one side and a bird among plants on the other half. It is a very well made brooch or pin and shows the highest quality craftsmanship. No detail was missed, this work is so beautiful.
