Antique necklace composed of Mali glass wedding beads made in Bohemia in the early 1900s. Bright and bulbous shaped colorful beads make up this fabulous antique necklace. Wedding trade beads hold a significant place in the history of world trade and cultural exchange. These beads were especially valued as symbols of wealth, prosperity, and unity during African wedding ceremonies and passed down for generations and used in wedding ceremonies. This necklace was securely restrung with a hook and eye clasp.
