Italian dark red coral horn pendants with a sterling silver cap. They are amulets of ancient origin worn to protect against the evil eye, in Italian cornuto, corno, or cornicello. Corno means "horn" and cornicello means "little horn" -- these names refer to a long, gently twisted horn-shaped amulet. They are solid red and have been polished to a shiny finish. They are all natural and you can see some of the pits and color variations that occur in red coral. They average 1 inch in length and are approximately 4mm in diameter. They have sterling silver caps with a large round bail on the top.
