These Iolite round beads are gemstones are a beautiful violet color. Iolite is also called Cordierite. These beads are a very nice quality with a deep violet color, really gorgeous. Excellent polish on these beads. NOS from a jewelry store that closed in 1980's

Best you’ll ever see

This Iolite is truly amazing. Most these days are filled with inclusions (black) and/or clear. Some are just blue with no violet. These stones had to be cut just the right way because they have the pleochroism which makes them the most valuable showing both blue and violet depending on the light. LOVE this shop and Allison is so helpful!
