Lapis & Sterling Bracelet

Beautiful lapis lazuli and sterling silver beads make this bracelet special. The dark blue lapis lazuli gemstone beads have been hand cut and nicely polished. The Lapis name stems from the Latin word meaning stone and from the Arabic word "azula" meaning blue. This treasured blue stone can be found throughout many ancient civilizations. Most of the Lapis Lazuli is mined from mountains in northern Afghanistan. The beads are elongated ovals in shape and high quality stones with great polish. The beads are tested to be sterling silver. Unmarked in excellent condition.
