These natural moonstone rondelle beads are gemstones that are a milky white color with blue rutiles or needles running through them. The color is clear to white with flashes of blue - they shimmer or glow, really gorgeous. When light falls between these thin layers it is scattered producing the phenomenon called adularescence. Adularescence is the light that appears to billow across a gem. They are hand cut and faceted into a rondelle shape. Natural color.
