This designer shell necklace has a great 1970's organic and BOHO style. The long necklace is composed of blue shell beads and gold plated faux coral beads. The spiky shell beads are dyed a lovely turquoise blue color. Carol Dauplaise worked for Miriam Haskell from 1958-78 as an in house designer. She formed her own company in 1978. The locking clasp has the Dauplaise hallmark with the iconic patented clasp that she used on a lot of her early necklaces.
