Sharif Tan Leather Mosaic Hand Bag Purse Vintage

Exquisite hand bag by Sharif, a well known Egyptian designer. This vintage purse is from the late 1980's. The front and back are covered with a mosaic of taupe and tan leather, reptile skins as well as a lovely tapestry fabric. The taupe leather on the sides and top is embossed with an Egyptian pattern. The bag is half moon in shape and is rounded. The bottom is wider than the top. A flap closes the purse and has a lovely bronze and stone closure. There is a matching leather carry strap which can be tucked inside the bag. The bag hangs down 30". The inside is lined with taupe and light brown smooth leather. There is a gold metal "Sharif Made in USA" label inside. The inside is very, very clean and has no indications of use. The bag measures 10"w x 9"h.  The bag is just lovely and in excellent condition with no wear of signs of use.
