Long Graduated Ivory Bead Necklace Antique

This antique necklace features beautiful smooth elephant ivory beads. This elegant necklace is extra long and graduated with 4 - 16mm round beads. The smooth beads are strung on silk. This necklace was imported before the ivory ban. Schraeger lines and cross hatching are seen on many of the beads. The beads have a lovely warm and aged patina consistent with antique ivory that has been worn. It has a traditional screw clasp and is just lovely.
