This vintage sterling silver charm has a descending dove on a dark oxidized background. The handcrafted 3-dimensional dove really stands out on the black background. This depiction could be symbolic of peace or the holy spirit. Peace doves were popular in the 1940's during WWII. The dove is also used in many stories and teachings in the Bible. The bail has partial hallmarks. It tests to be sterling silver and most likely made in Mexico.
