Victorian Carved White Pearl Shell Button 2"

Fabulous Huge 2 inch carved Mother of Pearl Shell Button. This antique Mother of Pearl Button is white and was expertly carved in a lovely pattern. It is a two-hole sew through button with gorgeous sheen and possesses an incredible faint pink and green iridescence.  It is 2 inches in diameter and 3mm thick.The opposite side is the back of the shell and is flat and pure white. This piece could be incorporated in a piece of jewelry or would make a lovely closure for a cloak, coat, bag or purse.
