Texas Capitol Christmas Ornament 2000

Texas Capitol Christmas Ornament from 2000. The gold and enamel ornament features the reverse side of the Texas State Seal. Texas adopted a seal in 1826, but it was 125 year later when they created a design for the backside. The six national flags that flew over Texas are depicted around a shield. The Alamo is on the top half of the shield and the first and last battles of the Texas Revolution are on the lower half. It is a collectible ornament in Mint Condition in the box.  The box also includes an information booklet on the Texas State Seal.
