Large genuine green jade horns or tusks. These gorgeous jade pieces were hand carved into a curved tooth or tusk shape and are considered amulets of ancient origin, worn to protect against the evil eye. They are a lovely dark green color with a few minor inclusions visible in the horn and they have been highly polished to a shiny finish. Old stock from a jewelry store that closed. They have a small drill hole in the flat ends. You could wire wrap them, add a bail or drill them. They are 3½-4 inches long and 3/4 inch across the top.
The Italian's call them cornuto, corno, or cornicello. Corno means "horn" and cornicello means "little horn" -- these names refer to a long, gently twisted horn-shaped amulet.
