Tiger Coral Elephant Brooch
Striking tiger coral mosaic brooch fashioned into an elephant's face. The elephant has mother of pearl eyes and tusks as accents. Wonderful example of modernist and figural jewelry that was popular in the 1970's. Tiger Coral is a rare sponge coral with designs and colors that are all natural and not painted or dyed. The back has laminated black plastic on it to stabilize the design and make it sturdy.
