Large Safari Dendritic Picture Jasper Pendant
Beautiful extra large Safari Dendritic Picture Jasper Pendant. This is a gorgeous tan and brown colored gemstone that is cut into a large oval, domed and nicely polished. Dendritic siltstone is a type of siltstone with natural branching patterns that resemble a forest scene or Chinese paintings. It's also known as Nature's Paintbrush or Chinese Picture Jasper. Dendrites are inorganic formations that occur when mineral solutions fill fissures in rocks and are often mistaken for fossilized plants. This pendant is drilled through the ceter and has a large bail on top with a decorative sterling silver bead dangling on the bottom. You get the exact piece that is pictured.
